Update on Status of Tinker Creek

The following update has been provided by the Virginia Department of Health: On Monday, August 7th, DEQ Water Monitoring staff collected additional water samples from Tinker Creek.  Sampling locations ranged from the vicinity of the spill to the Route 24 bridge across Tinker Creek near the confluence with the Roanoke River. Recreation Incentive Fund Program Opens Up

Major Detour for Rt. 11 at Exit 150

SALEM — Due to weather conditions forecasted for this weekend, the opening of Gateway Crossing and the detour for Route 11 has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, December 20. Burn Ban Lifted

Fincastle, VA – At 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2016, Botetourt County Administrator Gary Larrowe    announced the lifting of the burn ban that had been in effect since mid-November. Elections Press Release Regarding Misleading Letters
