Spring Fire Season Burn Ban in Effect

Virginia’s Spring Fire Season Burn Ban also known as the “4 p.m. burning law” goes into effect on Saturday, February 15, 2020. 2020 Reassessment Update

January 28, 2020

This afternoon, Wampler-Eanes Appraisal Group released overall reassessment data for the County. Real estate values in Botetourt County have increased an average of 9.32% since 2016 when the last general property reassessment occurred. During this time, on average, residential real estate increased 11%, commercial properties increased 10%, and agricultural properties increased 5%. This is in (more…)

County Prepares for Major Investments

County’s Financial Position is Strong

Burn Ban Lifted
