UPCOMING ELECTIONS

Voters wishing to become a candidate should visit Virginia Department of Elections website for appropriate candidate bulletins, forms and deadlines.

TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2020 DUAL PRIMARY
    (Democratic & Republican Parties)
       US Senate (statewide)
       US House of Representatives
              (6th Congressional District)
.

Virginia does NOT register voters by party so all registered voters are eligible to vote in the June 9, 2020 Dual Primary.  Per Code of Virginia§24.2-530 voters are only allowed to vote in one primary when both parties hold primaries on the same day.  Each primary (Republican and Democratic) is a separate election with separate ballots.  Because of this, voters must indicate which primary they wish to participate in when checking into the precinct.
